The Film believes that ‘the fans will be satisfied’ with the redesign

Following the decision of the director of Sonic: The Movie, Jeff Fowler, of change the controversial design of this iconic character in his next film after the reaction of the fans, was delayed until February 14, 2020.

In a recent interview with Variety for his film Terminator: Dark Fate at SDCC, producer Tim Miller commented on the aspect of the redesign and the process after seeing the criticism of the fans.

“Look, I was with the fans, and so was Jeff.” When the shit hit the fan, I went and said, “The most important thing to do is say ‘I screwed up,'” Miller said. I was a good man, it was the right way to deal with it, the fans have a voice in this too, there is a correct way to listen. ”

Miller said he believes the movie’s delay will be worth it and when asked if he had seen any of the new designs, he replied, “In fact, yes, and I think the fans will be satisfied.”

Much of the criticism was for the human characteristics that Sonic seemed to have in the trailer, like the teeth and muscular legs – two things that Sonic has not had in the classic games, and that the fans did not feel as faithful to the character.

While we wait for the occasion to see the new aspect of Sonic, you can leave your opinion in the comments system under these lines.
