The directors of Avengers: Endgame would abandon their retirement from the superhero cinema by certain characters of the factory Marvel and they have wanted to talk about them.
Last month both told that after Avengers: Endgame left Marvel to focus on minor productions, leaving the superhero movies and the UCM in other hands.
“Maybe there is an idea like that in the future, but there is not one right now,” said Anthony Russo, answering if there is a project that would make him return to Marvel.
His brother, Joe Russo, said that “it’s simply a matter of finding a story that inspires us, which is what makes us get out of bed every day,” he said. “I love Ben Grimm from The Fantastic Four, Doctor Doom was always one of my favorite villains,” he said, suggesting that a movie of this license would get him back.
Knowing that Marvel has again the rights of The Fantastic 4 now that Disney has bought 21st Century Fox we wonder how long it will take Kevin Feige to give a return to these statements and start moving the threads necessary to bind the directors who have managed to get Marvel Studios the second most box office movie in the history of cinema.
