A man has shattered his PlayStation 4 against the ground in protest of similarities between The Legend Of Zelda: Breath of The Wild and the title Genshin Impact
Sony announced last week that Genshin Impact, action game and role of open world developed by the studio MiHoyo, would reach European PS4 players in 2020, in addition to launching a title trailer where we can see that the game looks quite like Breath of the Wild, the last game of the Zelda franchise.
Many have been those who have compared both titles, either as a joke or messing with the study MiHoyo, but the most curious reaction we have known through twitter of Daniel Ahmad (@ZhugeEX) and has been that of a Chinese player who has appeared at the fair ChinaJoy Y has protested the resemblance of these games by stamping his PlayStation 4 against the ground, breaking it in the process and alerting the security of the event.
When Mihoyo unveiled Genshin Impact for PS4, many noted the game was inspired by BOTW.
Some fans of BOTW are upset that Sony is promoting this game because of the similarities + they think it’s shameless of Sony.
