Netflix is working on an adaptation of Cowboy Bebop as a real action series with 10 episodes for its first season.
Originally published in Japan in 1998, Cowboy Bebop is a story with jazz inspirations that follows a group of marginalized people who work as bounty hunters while fleeing their past hunting the most dangerous criminals in the solar system. They will even save the planet … if they are paid well.

Netflix will produce this new series with Tomorrow Studios and the original anime director, Shinichiro Watanabe, will be on the project as a consultant.
Christopher Yost, screenwriter for Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok, will write the first episode and will be executive producer.
For next year Netflix has a wide catalog of prepared anime classics, as we showed you yesterday. At the head of all of them will be Neon Genesis Evangelion and the two parallel films.
