RAGE 2 is merely a single player game, with "better" consoles running at constant 60fps

Although RAGE 2 could be Mecca for all multiplayer fans, we are not going to be the same in the game. From Bethesden, they say RAGE 2 is a strictly single player player experience and does not intend to make any trip to multiplayer water with it.

Unlike the original gaming co-op and vehicle-based multiplayer game, RAGE 2 will, thanks to the brilliant collaboration between Id Software and Avalanche Studios, be one of the true players of the single player game. Both teams are focused on one goal – to make their game a more enjoyable gaming experience that will play on all three platforms at constant 60fps. This applies to the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X consoles, but not to the standard models of the same ones that they will most likely go into the 30s of the fps.

RAGE 2 is currently under development for PS4, Xbox One and PC, and we should be selling it next spring.
