DOOM on Switch looks very good, but still significantly worse than on other platforms

Bethesda has confirmed that Doom Switch will launch a custom engine specially adapted to Nintendo's current hybrid console, which means ID Software to unveil the technical maximum of the Nintendo Switch console to make the visual aspect of the game as close as possible to the superior PS4, Xbox One and PC versions.

How many Switch versions of Doom will differ from the old versions that have been out for almost a year and a half, best shows the video comparison between the Switch and the PS4 version, which you can look below.

As you can see, Doom on Switch definitely does not look bad, but there is also a noticeably lower level of detail that, given the great gameplay that Doom brings, the owners of the new Nintendo console will definitely not be a bigger obstacle to play and enjoy in it.

Doom should come to the Switch at the end of the year, but we do not yet have the exact date of its release.
